All good things come to those who wait.. or so the saying goes. Well I have been waiting, and guessing, and waiting, and guessing, for 8 months now, but at last, tomorrow the wait will be over and I will know.
At the end of July last year, our Officer Commanding retired without a new one being appointed. Originally the date for a new appointment was set for October, but it was moved to December and then we were promised before the end of January and at last, at the end of March, the powers that be, appointed somebody.
Who the somebody is, is also a big secret (only three people on our unit knows, but even that is a secret) so I am expecting a huge surprise...
So, after closing the last chapter 8 months ago, I can start writing the new one tomorrow. I just hope that the saying is true and that all the waiting brings something really GOOD.

A new OC to train up, eh? Make sure you start as you mean to go on and pretty soon I'm sure he'll understand his place in the grand scheme of things :-)
Hahaha... I love your attitude for it is pretty much mine also. He has a choice: either we work together, or I work for him. The first will mean an excellent secretary, the second... well he'll find out over time! (lol)
I have to agree with Argent to, train him/her to YOUR liking. :)
How often we here that saying but I am afraid it is not always true.
I have just noticed that you are a Virgo too. Welcome to the club. :)
I am so pleased to have found you and yourself at last! Thanks for the visit. That wheelbarrow with the red blooms is gorgeous! It was nice meeting you at Gaelyn's special luncheon!
Well, I just wrote a post and it didn't go through...just was wondering about the new boss...hope it's a nice person, someone of whom you approve! You so deserve that.
