Back to Work

Much to tired to blog tonight.  First day back at work after 2 weeks of leave.

I must really start buying Lotto (SA's National Lottery) tickets so that I can become a millionaire very quickly and stay home.  Just think of it:  I can sit and blog, and game and surf all day long... (sigh).

Then again, if I have a couple of million in the bank, why stay put?  I can clutch my laptop under my arm, jump on a plane and visit Canada, America, England, Hawai and all those wonderful places I read about everyday.  I will, of course, pop in and say hello to each and everyone of my blogland friends... with arms full of presents!

Chocolate for some (Okay, it will have to be lots and lots of chocolate), coffee for others, red wine for a few, definitely a housemaid and babysitter for one specifically.  Oh wouldn't it be lovely?

Okay, okay, I know I am rambling, so goodnight everybody, I'm off to my bath with a book and then to bed... that is after I have washed the dishes... and put the washing in the machine... and fed the cat... and given Hubby his cup of tea...

What a wonderful thought...winning the lotto and visiting friends and new countries! I keep telling my husband he needs to buy lotto tickets, perhaps I should start too!

I say the same thing, even wrote a poem about the lottery, then I never buy the tickets. I get so discouraged when I finally do buy them and have not even ONE number! So when you do win, how about bringing me an entire case ( not just one bottle - see how greedy I am! ) of South Africa's finest pinotage!

I hope you win soon because since I lost my job last Feb, my once ample wine supply is almost gone!

Ah....the life of leisure. So glad to have my 6 months off work. Sure hope you win the Lotto and come for a visit. Or I can visit you. Chocolate will be fine. Don't work TOO hard.

Ah, those lovely Lotto dreams! I have similar ones, not just so I can have loads of money but so I wouldn't HAVE to do things I didn't want to, like get up and go to work in minus 4 degrees. You'd be welcome to visit me though, anytime!

I figure that my chances of winning big at the lotto as considerably slimmer than making the NY Times bestseller list, which is the remotest possibility I can think of. Might be an idea to actually buy a ticket or two, and finish the book. Hope you enjoyed your bath!
