The is so much good in the worst of us
and so much bad in the best of us,
and so much bad in the best of us,
that it little behooves any of us
to stand and judge the rest of us.
to stand and judge the rest of us.
(I have no idea who said this originally, but I am sure it was a very wise person.)

And you were very wise to share it with the rest of us....we all need that reminder now and then, lest we get on our high horses and think we are better than the rest of the world!!! Merci, gracias, donka and a hearty thank you!

"pride goeth before a fall"!
somebody used to tell us when we were kids that if you have one finger pointing at someone, you have three fingers pointed at yourself and one your thumb pointed toward god.
i used to wonder what that meant until i was much bigger but now i know!..i have been guilty so many times!
good post!
ying and yang.. there cannot be one without the other. Great post! anyword on Massey?
It is so true (and also sad really) that you cannot have the one without the other, but that is just life. We would not know happiness if we didn't experience sadness, we would not recognise beauty if we did not know ugliness, etc.
