Early one Morning

SILENCE! - how wonderful! Only the sounds that magnifies silence, to be heard. Birds waking, the old freezer humming and the gentle voice inside me directing me to all the beauty of the beginning of a new day.

Lately I often saw a headline flashing in my mind's eye:

"WANTED! A LIFE!"

My life is filled with demands from
people
circumstances
things.
Family and friends needing
attention
encouragement
advice.....
Circumstances demanding
time
energy
planning
managing.....
Things requiring
attention
maintenance
processing.......
Endless demands!

But at this moment as day breaks and the sun spills it's life-giving rays over a new day, I am grateful for the privelege of having people, circumstances and even things, in my life.

Thank you God.

Ohm=, yes. I completely agree. I often feel like that myself.

P.S. My mother was born and raised in South Africa, and her heart was always there, even when she moved to Canada. It sounds like SUCH a beautiful country.

Cheers!

I love how you worded this... "Only the sounds that magnifies silence, to be heard." I love those moments.

I took the kids' first day of school off so I could hear that silence, and those sounds that magnify the silence, again. I haven't heard them in a while... but like you, even after a long day, I appreciate the things that fill my life. God is great!
