A Special Weekend

Joshua
I do not usually post photos of either my family or myself but this once, I found that words could not paint these pictures.  The weekend o f 2 May was special.  It was Joshua's blessing ceremony and afterwards we all gathered at his Grandpa and Grandma's house for a true Bushveldt braai.  Here are some photo's to tell the story.
With Mom and Dad

With Granny and Great Granny

At home and content on Granpa's lap.

With Oupa and Ouma.
The next two photos were not taken on this occasion but I love them and wanted to include them.

Now you know where I get my "looks" from.

Dad and boy sharing a "peaceful moment"

Now the second reason why this weekend was special.  A special person came to visit.  No names, but I was so happy to see her hitting it off my my family also.

The most precious things in this life:  Family and Friends!

What a Blessed day...what a cutie pie! I want to nibble on those chubby sweet cheeks! My youngest daughter is expecting the end of September. They are having a boy too...his name will be Jacob. Hugs and Blessings to you and your family.

I think this is a conspiracy!! You AND Geylyn posting pictures of me I did not know you had taken!! LOL!!

That was a wonderful day Anne and I thank you for including me in your gathering. You have a beautiful family and that grandson is just too cute. :)

Thank you all for your comments. It is always so nice to hear that others agree with me on my grandson - lol. It was really a special day and Joan joining us made it more special. She is a fellow blogger whom I met in person only a very few months ago and she is even more interesting (not to mention "nice") than her blog which is pretty good. Treat yourselves and visit her at http://saphotographs.blogspot.com/.
