A Happy Woman

When I left my house this morning on my way to work, I heard this incessant buzzing sound. It led me to this Litchi tree that grows about 5 meters from the door of my stoep. It is covered with flowers at present - all the white bits at the ends of the brances are tiny flowers and yes, that is JD on the ground under the tree, investigating with me.
On closer investigation, this is what I found. Wonderful little workers of nature buzy, buzy, buzy working their miracle to give us the pleasure of juicy litchis in a couple of weeks.

(Yes I know, the photo is not as clear as it could be so you will just have to take my word for it - these are honey bees pollenating the flowers and I am so happy about it as I love litchies.)

One more surprise awaited me on the way to the bus stop. I do not really like cactii but when they flower, there is no denying their beauty.

I left for work a happy woman.

Lucky you....! It is spring where you live. *sigh*

We just had a weather warning of an Arctic front moving in today.

*deep sigh*

I just read your last post as well. It is wonderful. I posted a comment.

Have a fabulous day.

Cheers!

Jo

Oh all that snow coming Jo. Sitting in our 34 degree celsius heat I can find a lot of good things to say about an arctic front (Lol). Thanks for visiting.

I have a new camera Phillip so I will probably bore you to dementia with photos before long, but thanks for your kind comment.

No, you won't bore us! These are lovely pictures. There's nothing as nice-looking as that around here so it's nice to see beauty - even if it's only on the screen. Have a lovely weekend.

Hi Argent, I will have a lovely weekend. I am planning to read through the adventures of Harold as if it is a book. So glad they are now grouped together.

I hope you enjoy your reading. They're just copies of what I posted on Wordzzles. I'm toying with doing fuller posts on Harold's own blog and edited-for-length versions on Wordzzle Saturdays. One day, I'd like to edit them properly into a book.

I have this vision for you and Harold: You will publish his story in a book that will become a best seller and when, in a couple of years, students in some university literature lecture discuss the classic story of Harold by the Nobel prize for literature winner Argent, the lecturer will start off by saying that this book was the first to emerge from the phenomena of blogging at the beginning of the 21st century... one must dream big, don't you agree?

You are SO kind! I can't imagine anyone ever wanting to study anything I wrote, but I'm certainly dreaming bigger now! Thanks. By the way, I really like the new look of your blog - Massey's lovely.
